Photoshop CS4 brings High Dynamic Range Imaging into a next level

The New Photoshop CS4 Release, i using it for days. and i found that Photoshop CS4
had made more breakthrough and more surprise in Photoshop CS4 especially in HDR process
the Local Adaption algorithm improved, 3D model support and so on...

so here is my little tutorial of the HDR Process.....

First u need to have a bracketed images at least 2, i recommend 3
the under exposure, the Mean exposure which is expose to midtone and over exposure

here are the example

  • The Overexpose

  • the mean exposure

  • the under exposure
and merge them together to come this image, so dramatic, and rich detail rich contrast.
it is a wonderful image

  • The Final Image
of course our monitor is unable to display 32bit/channel (HDR) so the final image
is tone mapped and add further touch up to finalize the image.

by the way the Photographer is © Jacques Joffre i just borrow it to do this demonstration

Here is my tutorial
